Report any damages you cause or discover to the fault-reporting system. The sooner the issue is reported, the sooner it can be fixed (usually within 2 days).

Smoking in public areas, disturbing the night peace, not cleaning the kitchenette after cooking, etc., are direct violations of the house rules, which may result in a ban on basic membership in the SH club or, in extreme cases, termination of the accommodation contract. Penalties for violating the SUZ accommodation rules or other SH regulations are applied in the following manner:

The Toilet Times is a newspaper that provides information about all the happenings on our block. The name suggests where you can read it - in a calm place, sitting down, without any rush, hence in the toilets. And if you get tired of reading the same thing after a month, don't worry! A new issue is released every month.

A summary of information for newcomers is neatly compiled on the page http://wiki.siliconhill.cz/Novacek. \ You can report network problems to email admin6@sh.cvut.cz. The message will be delivered to all registrars and the network administrator. Some important points can be found below.

1) Fill out the pre-registration online form - Link to pre-registration. \ 2) Fill out and sign the application for acceptance as a member of the Czech Technical University Student Union (SH) ( paper form). \ 3) Bring the devices you want to connect to the internet - 3x WiFi and 1x cable (laptop, mobile phone, tablet, …). \ 4) Don't forget your student card (ISIC, Czech Technical University) or ID card!

Personal access points or other network devices (routers, switches, etc.) are not allowed in the rooms. \ Sharing internet with a friend or roommate who is not paying for the connection is not allowed. \ Downloading or sharing illegal software, especially using torrents, is prohibited. \ If you still want to try to bypass the automatic recognition system, read the penalty rates on the club's wiki.

After registration, find out what you need to set up on wifi. If you have trouble connecting, focus on the section „randomization“! \ It is recommended to use the 5 GHz network if your network card supports it. \ The block is fully covered by the Aruba wireless technology. \ Report any WiFi problems, including the time of the issue, to admin6@sh.cvut.cz.

To register a new device to the network, you must personally visit a registrar and bring the device with you. \ No devices will be connected if you request it via email or Facebook. \ Before visiting the registrar, find out the MAC address of your WiFi card and the wired connection. \ In Linux, instead of „ipconfig /all,“ type „ip a“.

To gain access to the block study room, you must visit a registrar in person.
To register, you need to have your Czech Technical University chip card or ČVUT ISIC card.
If you don't have a Czech Technical University chip card or ČVUT ISIC card, contact the email fitcentrum@siliconhill.cz.

To relocate, you need to contact the registrar in person or via email at admin6@sh.cvut.cz.\ It is essential to know the room to which you are moving and the name of your new roommate to ensure we do not disconnect the wrong person from the network. The room change itself is decided by the Housekeeper.

To borrow any equipment or use common rooms, you must first make a reservation and then arrange with the administrator for key handover or access.\ The reservation is valid only after confirmation from the administrator (via email, in person, etc.).

• Adding a card to the ČVUT card reader is done by registrars (due to the ČVUT system, there may be a delay of up to a week).
• Access to the gym is granted by the small gym administrator.
• The space is constantly monitored by a camera system.
• Before entering the gym, it is mandatory to read the gym safety rules to avoid possible bans from violating them or causing an accident.

• Foosball, darts, and other activities available.
• When returning the key, it is expected that the room will be in the same condition as it was borrowed.
• Adherence to the room rules is a necessary part of the reservation.

• The equipment must be returned in the same condition it was borrowed (cleaned).
• Any defects in the equipment must be reported to the administrator.
• In the storage room, you will find tools, sports equipment, and other materials.

In the notebook, write down the „agreed return time“ (e.g., vacuum cleaner to be returned in about an hour, etc.).\ BANS: 7 days for not returning the vacuum cleaner, 5 days for drills and grills, 3 days for everything else.
